What I like about Fall at Walt Disney World!

Walt Disney World in the fall – one of my favorite times to go.  The fall time is special, the parks are transformed in only a way Disney can do. Fall decorations and fun, spooky vibes. This gives everyone a new experience than just the regular Disney trip. The weather is great this time of year. September can still be hot but come October into November, the weather is perfect. Still warm enough to go swimming, but not as humid. All four parks have fall decorations and offer fun experiences you can only find during fall time. Let us take a look at a few things you don’t want to miss on your Fall trip to Walt Disney World.

Did I say Disney puts up fall decorations? Well, Magic Kingdom is my favorite park dunging the Fall. It is decked out from head to toe in festive fall décor - pumpkins, scarecrows and fall foliage give the park that Autumn themed feel. With so many good photo opt’s, I am sure you are going to come away with a lot of magical memories you can share with friends and family.

The biggest thing Walt Disney World does in the fall is: Mackey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party – on select nights starting in August through Oct. 31st.  On these select nights you can purchase a ticket to the party, and this is a party you don’t want to miss! They closed Magic Kingdom to just the party guests, this makes for shorter ride lines. Party runs from 7 p.m. to midnight – but they will let party guests into the park at 4 p.m. You can look forward to the Mickey’s Boo-To-You Halloween Parade, and weather permitting, the Headless Horseman will make an appearance. Trick-or-treating, special shows, themed foods, and much more! I love that there are meet and greets that you only get at this party! Seven Dwarfs & Snow White, Jack and Sally, and the Sanderson Sisters are on stage! Oh! And my favorite thing is adults can dress up and go into the park. This is the only time adults can dress up and go into Magic Kingdom.

Magic Kingdom is not the only place celebrating the fall. Disney Springs along with the resorts are offering up some fun experiences. You can find fall décor and live music at Disney Springs, fall themed menus at Disney resorts, and Hollywood and Vine in Hollywood Studio’s has seasonal dinning. Minnie and her friends are even dressed in their fall attire.

We can’t not forget Epcot International Food & Wine Festival is also going on through mid- November. During the festival you can indulge in all the food and wine of the world- while still enjoying all your favorite attractions. This is one of my favorite festivals at Epcot.

Then there is the shopping! Halloween Merchandise everywhere. Did you forget your Halloween attire? Don’t worry Disney has that covered. In the parks and Disney Springs, you can purchase Halloween sweatshirts and costumes and much more. The Merchandise is released most of the time in August so you can plan ahead!
